Vintage 50' / 60's Silvertone by Kay N1 L7483 P-2 archtop acoustic electric, Pro Player. I believe this to be late 50's, or early 60's. Honey brown burst finish on Maple or Birch body (not sure which). Rosewood board. Brass frets (some wear, but nothing drastic). Cream binding front, back, and neck. The reason I call it a Pro Player is because it is the first vintage 50's/60's Kay or Silvertone that I have ever seen with a modern neck profile, and a narrow width. Only 1-5/8" at the nut. The neck is much more like that of an electric than an archtop. This guitar is in very good condition for one that is around 50 years old. It does have the normal nicks and scratches that you would expect. The headstock sides have slightly separated from the headstock, but look to have been that way for a long time, and seem solid. There is a place on the lower bout(shown in pic 4) that has a finish crack(does not go through). The tuners have been replaced with newer vintage style tuners that you can actually tune without breaking your arm !!!!! The bridge looks to have been made up of different pieces, but it serves the purpose, and works well. Guard has been painted at some time. Has had a nice neck reset. Heel is tight to body, and the neck angle is great. Action at the 12th is 1/8". Less than 1/32" neck relief. Board is in great shape. Overall a very, very solid, good looking vintage Silvertone. Has a nice vintage sound unplugged, and plugged in, it will REALLY sing the BLUES. Looks and Plays GREAT, Sounds FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No case, but will pack very carefully.

Thanks for looking !!
