Ladies and Gents we have a winner
She was not exactly kept unda da bed but she roars like virgin...mint like sound
Electronics cleaned so there is no crackle or background noise at all. Totally clean sound crunchy and clean see the inside in the photos below.
Overdriven she sounds like a Jimmy Page Thunderbolt amp and aside from the reverb seeming to be out or very weak
the foot switch turns the Tremolo on and off
No issues at all except the reverb and that may be an easy fix.
Known best as the "Twin Twelve" This Danelectro made the SEARS & ROBUCK Silvertone 1484 and it is well know to the players out there as one
of the great undervalued Garage rock band amps. It is truly one of the highly sought after 1960's amps...this one was made for only 3 years: 1963 - 1966
60 watts of Led Zep power
2x12" original speakers and a piggyback tube amp with the tuck away head for easy transportation
Tolex is in very good condition with the rips or tears as shown well in the photos
It could be cleaned up a bit but in nice restorable shape
Speakers sound awesome and both channels work perfect
Front light bulb needs replacing showing the amp is on...I had to peak around back to see if it was on because it is so quiet when on but not being played

The head will be packed as follows:
All tubes removed and bubble wrapped & numbered with a clear diagram to show you where they go back in
Head has 4 bolts that will be out so you can just put the tubes back in ...screw the 4 bolts in to hold the chassis to the amp head
and Jam away.
One of the coolest sounding amps that have come through our hands in a long time...would have been a keeper if there was room..
