Silvertone Guitar

You are bidding on a Vintage 1960s Sears Silvertone Model 1448 Electric Guitar. The box has a built in tube amplifier that is quite unique.  Serial number 185.10010.  Made by Sears, Roebuck & Co. in Canada. This guitar works perfectly, I recently had it restrung and all the electronic parts tested and maintained by professionals, as I am not a guitar guy myself. I will include the repair slip in the package if you wish. The guitar is in Very Good condition, if not Great condition.  I have taken a close up picture of what I see to be the most significant cosmetic damage on the guitar, which is a slight chip in the neck.  I have looked it over carefully, and it is glossy and well maintained.  There are some minor scuff / wear marks throughout, and a scrape in the outer cloth on the very bottom.  Other than that, the pictures speak for themselves, and perhaps it could use a good cleaning.  The flash may make some areas seem brighter than they do with the naked eye, but the pick guard is white, not yellowed, and the cloth lining on the body is only slightly grayed from use.

On the amplifier, the original tubes are present. It does not produce sound when the guitar is plugged into it, but the right two tubes light up when plugged into the outlet and turned on, and there does not appear to be any significant damage to the amplifier (please see the picture).  The Case is missing one of the latches that hold it closed.  The Red Velvet lining is in Excellent condition, as you will see in the pictures.
