Here is a GREAT VINTAGE RARE 1963 SILVERTONE 1472 AMP, like today's BOUTIQUE amps, made by DANELECTRO!  These were only available from '61-'63, distributed by Sears! This amp has all that great tube warmth you have come to expect from vintage amps! 

Since the boutique amp boom of the early 90’s, one of the most commonly copied circuits is the 50’s Fender Tweed Deluxe: here is a funky alternative for those who love the bluesy grind of a 6V6 circuit.

Serial#: 185.11020. Pot date to 1963. 10 all tube watts! 12" speaker!

Condition: Very Good!   This beauty is all original - even down to the original Silvertone Tubes!  This Silvertone is in exceptionally good condition - and works perfectly - although the speaker does breakup on the low end when above 6-10, and does get some noise on the mic input past 3-4 and probably needs a set of new tubes.  Sounds Like: Well, like their reputation (and nickname) says, they sound a lot like a Tweed Deluxe, though a bit looser and wilder.  Decent cleans at low volume.  Nice bottom, rich, textured mids.  But, get the volume up past 11 O’clock, and these amps really start to show their stuff.  Great overdrive – the classic American tube push of the 6V6’s.  Just a great, classic blues and garage rock tube sound.  Great, deep 60’s style tremolo with a good sweep of speed control.  This is your chance to get your hands on a true vintage classic- they don't make 'em like this anymore!
