Silvertone Guitar

For Sale - Late 50s -early 60s Silvertone 1427 Espanada guitar. Made by Harmony in Chicago plant. Same guitar as Harmony H62 and H63 under the silvertone name. The 1427 model is only 2 3/4inches deep which helps to keep feedback under control. This guitar shows only minor playwear, light for a guitar which is 50+ years old. There are some minor dings, most are not through the finish. There are some scratches on the back but they are light and do not go through the finish. The guitar has some minor scratches and very light finish checking. Overall I would rate this guitar 8.5 of 10. The guitar is 100% original. Many of these are missing the pickguard or have a repro. This has it's original molded plastic pickguard. All other parts are original including all the electronics. This guitar was made to play the blues and rockabilly. This is Harmony/silvertone's top of the line guitar. Actually a great jazz guitar as well. The guitar comes in a black chipboard case.

Guitar description - 2 factory installed Gibson P13 pickups with pole pieces. They sound fantastic and have high output. All electronics work without issue. As you can see in photo #12 the frets are very clean showing almost no wear at all. The neck is perfectly straight and the action is within 1/8 inch all the way up the neck. Plays like Butta. All the binding is tight and intact with no splits or seperation anywhere on the guitar. 3 ply binding on top, W-B-W. Single ply white binding on back and neck. All the inlays are fine. None are shrinking or coming loose. Original tuners work without issue. As you can see from the photos the guitar is in very good condition. There have never been any repairs nor does it need any. The guitar is 100% sound and works perfectly. Please check all the photos carefully. What you see is exactly what you will get. If you have any other questions please let me know.
