DescriptionVintage Kay / Silvertone Aristocrat archtop guitar projectHere I have a Silvertone version of the Kay model "Aristocrat" guitar ca 1952. Body measures 17 inches at lower bout, 3 1/2" deep, overall length is 43 inches. Blonde finish is worn, but original. Laminated back, and sides, solid spruce top. There is a hole in the upper side that measures 1 1/2" x 1 inch, the laminate on the back by the neck is coming undone, and will need to be glued back, neck is straight, but it's pulling up, and will need to be re-set as well. There is one repaired top crack by the treble side F hole, frets show wear, as does the rosewood fingerboard, fancy three piece inlays are in tact, headstock overlay looks great, fancy binding is in good shape as well. Should make a great player once repaired. This guitar is being sold as a project. Please ask questions before bidding. Thanks in advance.
