VINTAGE SILVERTONE TWIN TWELVE GUITAR AMP

This is a SEARS AND ROEBUCK TWIN TWELVE ALL ORIGINAL MODEL 1484 W/FOOTSWICHTCH I believe 50 watts.This fabulous find was obtained  from the original owner who bought it new from Sears, he used to play accordion through it. It is in great shape for an amp that’s over 45 years old. It was stored in his work shop closet for many years. Mousies built a nest in it and nibbled on the bottom inside of the cab but amazingly chewed no wires. Even more amazing it works good ! The paint on the front is rusted away but the chassis is in structurally good condition as you can see from the photos. The cabinet is in very good condition with the exception of the lower right corner where the covering is missing. Speakers are original JENSEN C12Q 220587 which means this amp was probably made close to 1965. They are not torn, blown and sound great. Everything works on this amp including reverb and tremolo. It has GE power tubes the rest of them are hard to read but work good.  Even though this amp works and does not make any funny noises remember it is all original and has never been serviced . It has all original wiring including two prong power cord which has a tape repair on the insulation. I played the guitar and harp through it for several hours and days and it is pretty quiet and has a real nice clean sound and gets real loud and breaks up when you want it to. I would keep it but if I add one more piece of equipment I could be considered a hoarder.The cabinet speakers and amplifier on this unit are solid.There is a ton of info on the net about these amps and I did not describe in detail every little cosmetic flaw so please if you are interested in bidding on this amp ask away and if you are anal please move on.This a vintage  amp and the knowlegable winner of this amplifier should be very pleased.Amp weighs 55 pounds Please understand that it is sold as is with NO, NONE ,ZIPPO returns for any reason as I have described this vintage amp to the best of my ability and knowledge.I am listing the amp with a shipping fee of 80.00 by ups.
