Silvertone Guitar

For your consideration is this very rare 1966 Silvertone 1478 (Silhouette) in gorgeous metallic blue. We have seen model in the typical black red sunburst finish many times but never in this color. Original and matching blue DArmond pickups unbelievable and never seen by us as well. Super nice example of this affordable but top of the line Harmony made for and distributed by Sears Roebuck & Company. Based on the Harmony H19 the 1478 was produced approximately 1964-1967, this popular model is often compared to the Harmony H19, but it has some significant differences they include vibrato, pickups, bridge, pick guard shape. No issue all original guitar with the minor exception of one missing knob. The neck is perfect the electronics all original and working, plays and sounds great. Sporadic minor weather checking in the deep blue metallic finish speaks to the originality and age of this striking instrument. Newer aftermarket hard shell case included, fits slightly sung.

We do not clean, set up or re string the instrument before shipping, we find most guitarists and collectors have their own set up preferences, we do however make sure all instruments can be set up and played.
