Welcome bidders, up for auction today we have a beautiful piece. This is the Vintage '64 Silvertone Model 1457 Amp-In-Case electric guitar. 25" scale. 1.66" nut width. Guitar serial #: 5114. Amp Serial #: 185 11090. Pot Code: 1376431. This is the first year for the 1457 as well as the cleanest example I've ever seen! The guitar features two lipstick pickups and the masonite body for that incredible Silvertone sound! All that warm resonance is right there at your fingertips!  The neck has a thin C profile- incredibly comfortable! And the finish is Red Metallic Sunburst- just gorgeous. There is some relief in the neck- action is 1/8" at the 12th fret low E (no adjustable rod)- typical for this guitar. 

The amp in case is 5 watts of all tube power running into the 8" Jensen speaker. For 5 watts, this baby puts out some volume! The onboard tremolo gives you that incredible 60's warm vibrato- just perfect. Controls for Volume, Tone, Depth, & Speed. This is an incredible chance for an all-original Silvertone Amp-In-Case- includes the original guitar cable and tremolo footswitch! Again, this is a first year issue- super rare- perfect for collectors or players! Don't pass this by!

3. For your protection, and ours, we ship everything fully insured. International orders over $650 please add $20 for full USPS insurance.

4. Please pay within 48 hours of auction end- we are very accomodating- if you have a problem- please contact us.

5. If an item is damaged in shipping- please keep all packing materials and contact us immediately so we can file a claim.

6. Unfortunately, we can no longer ship to the Russian Federation due to a high rate of theft.

7. Due to new USPS guidelines- certain countries will not accept USPS packages over 42". If that is the case, we can remove the neck or, if it is a set/neck-thru we can ship Fedex International for an additional charge.

8. Flat rate shipping is for continental USA only- all other territories will be calculated.

9. Buyer to pay applicable import duties/taxes- We cannot reduce the shipping value to your country- please don't ask.

10. NY residents to pay sales tax- we don't 'charge' it- we just 'collect' it...
