Great playing and sounding Silvertone 1483 head. Two channels with vintage GE clear top 6l6GC's in the output for big tube tone that spans clean to mean and grind to crunch. Often compared tonally to a BF Bassman it can do that but also has a character all it own. It can also snarl like a Supro Thunderbolt and dimed it really sings. Plenty of power and volume yet the head is also nice and light. Fully serviced with any leaky caps replaced as well as a grounded power cord added and a 1/4 speaker output for using different cabinets. If the winner desires, I can also add a simple but great (and reversible) mod to take advantage of the now unused polarity switch. By adding a switchable bypass cap to the cathode resistor you will get an even wider range of tones: the stock setting that is nice and gritty and another that adds more punch and high end definition.
