Check it out...This is one of the Super Cool First Year 1963 Silvertone Silhouette Solid Body with DeArmond Silverfoil Pickup Guitars...I have had many of these and they just don't come up very often as they once did....This one has a Super Super Rare Whammy System...I have only seen this one two guitars...this one and a Harmony Bobcat...Both were in my possesion...You don't see many of these...I wish they had continued this whammy system...it is very smooth, no catching, or going out of tune...it is a great Whammy....This is by far one of the best sounding and playing one of these I have ever had......this is a really cool guitar....This guitar will blow you away with its Huge Tone...If you haven't experienced one of these be prepared to be blown away...These are Sleeper Guitars.....This Guitar is ready to go ....It is truly a magical guitar....It plays like a dream and it sounds even better......Lets get bidding!! 

What we have here today is a really nice 1963 Silvertone Silhouette Guitar. .....These are the best units that Silvertone Made in a Solid Body Guitar ...I have sold at least a 100 of these over the years...My buyers love them..It has two great  DeArmond  Silverfoil hot Pickups, Original Tuners and Tuner Grommets, Super Raree Harmony Vibrato Tailpiece and Harmony Vibrato arm and Harmony Bridge...all are original to this guitar...It plays and sounds like you would expect it to...This is a very cool guitar...they play and sound great...This guitar has been played alot over its life...Its has many dings and scratches...most on the sides...see pics...It has really cool Finish Crazing on the top.....Check the pics...It was played hard but there is nothing that detracts from the big booming sound and looks of this cool guitar...You won't look like a Rookie showing up to the gig with this one..LOL...It has super super low action and it sounds HUGE..Jeff the Tech set this one up great...he had to recontour one pickguard tip..see pic 6...it will last forever now....If you have never heard these DeArmond Silverfoils...you are in for a treat...They sound great!!..it is an awesome find and some lucky ebayer is going to get this really cool guitar...You will not be disappointed in this really Silvertone Guitar...This is a great guitar!!!

Lets review whats original on this one....

It has the original Neck, Headstock with Silvertone Stencilled Logo, Deluxe Kluson open back tuners, Tuner grommets, nut, body with original Redburst Finish..see pics, Original Harmony Bridge, Pickguard , Two DeArmond Silverfoil Pickups, All 4 Original Amber Harmony knobs and pickup selector switch and Switch Tip, Original Harmony Vibrato tailpiece and Vibrato bar, and strap buttons.........check those pics!!! ..WOW!!....NO case for this one..I have run out...

Now lets see whats not original...

NOTHING!!!......The pickguard has shrunk some like all these Nitrocellouse Pickguards..I had Jeff the Tech correct the two broken tips with his router.. He does such great work! ..see pics 10 and 11......The action is as good as it gets...super low easy playing action with plenty of room to raise it for player preference...... I pack like I was shipping it to myself..I do this alot..Bid with confidence that guitar will get to you in any destination in perfect shape..

The sound of these guitars are really 50's and 60's blues, jazz, country, and rock......It has a that distinctive Silvertone raw sound ...The neck is great.......the action is low, has very super easy playing action,  and the neck is very comfortable to play..You will not want to put his one down when you get it..its a blast to play...... Very Nice.....I have enjoyed playing it and know it will be a treasured guitar to who ever is lucky enough to win this auction...

It looks good, sounds good, and plays good...   it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot and have not had one complaint.... It has a few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 8.5 out of 10 Guitar..

.....Now this guitar is beautiful but it s sold as-is and is not returnable,  but will not disappoint the lucky bid winner..check my feedbacks ...This one will be no exception... it will be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot.....The lucky bid winner is to pay fixed shipping, packing, insurance, and delivery confimation of $45 for the lower 48...all others please ask first...
