Silvertone Guitar

This is an Original Switch Signature Vibracel guitar made by Silvertone. This is a very unique guitar and a must have for those of us who appreciate the unusual and I don't think it is made any longer. I was told it is from the early 90's. It is a 25.5 scale length guitar that is sculpted from a composite material. It has 2 EMG humbuckers, a 3-way selector switch, a volume and a tone knob. The string ferrules are at the bottom of the guitar. The neck is amazing. It is an ebony board that is bound on both sides and has beautiful inlays. It is super smooth and super fast. It is also sculpted into the body. This guitar is incredibly resonant and articulate. Every note in a chord, no matter how dissonant, rings out clearly. It easily does jazz, blues or rock. With overdrive, it can do killer crunch. The pickups have wide tonal range and are powerful. The guitar is in like new condition. There is one tiny ding on the headstock, and very minimal strum marks. It's comfortable and fun to play. It is beautifully made. It really is a cool modern take on an old concept.
