Silvertone Guitar

Up for auction is a 1960's Silvertone Electric Bass.Solid body design made by Danelectro and marketed by Sears under the Silvertone name. It has an original Two-Tone Sunburst finish with one Danelectro lipstick pickup. Manufactured in Neptune New Jersey. 
The bass is in good condition for being over forty years old! The neck is straight and the action is low . This bass has upgrade Gotoh Tuners and Bridge. The pickguard was altered a bit to accomadate the newer Gotoh Bridge .The neck is a bolt on with 22 frets. The electronics work although the tone control does not seem to be very effective either way. It is a vintage bass guitar and shows some dings-dents-scratches-nicks from normal playing wear and for an instrument this age. Overall, it's in good playing condition and has a very retro smooth round tone . This Bass is a short scale and does come with with an older hard case may or may not be original to the bass. One quick mention ...The picture of the back of the tunning machines appears to look as if the backs of the machine heads are missing...Not the case its just a poor picture with bad reflection....All sales are as is an are final with no returns or refunds given, please ask any and all questions that you may have prior to your purchase, I make every attempt to accurately describe and portray my items and want you to be happy with your purchase. Thank you for looking.
