Silvertone Guitar

silvertone (u.s.a. harmony made) guitar with dearmond gold pickup and trust rod.  it is from either '68 or '69.  this guitar looks and sounds amazing.  
i paid good money a few years ago to have the original tuning pegs replaced with ones that work.  i still have the originals in a box that i will include in this auction. 
i also paid to have it professionally intonated and re-fretted.  it is rare that a guitar of this make and year will have a straight neck and perfected bridge.  for it to intonate, it took allot of work.  over the past few years this alone cost be about $600 in total.  
the pick up was not grounded.  i had that fixed, so it is not constantly buzzing. 
at some point in time, someone decided to sand the front and back of the body, which for some reason adds to it beauty,  it has some scratches in the black paint which also add to the beauty.  there are some scratches in the neck from the re-fretting.  none of this affects anything, but rather adds to the character of the guitar.  this might be thought of as genuine "weathering."
i wanted this guitar to be a player not simply a relic.  i have more money tied up in the restoration, than the starting price of this auction.   
this guitar inspires creation and is one of the funnest guitars to play, hands down!!!  it is worth every penny i paid, and am charging for it.  an amazing player guitar.  

hurts me to sell it, but need to pay some bills
it will come with a gibson gig bag.  just had it professionally set up with new d'addario 11's.
