Sears and Roebuck Model 1483 Silvertone Amplifier. I purchased this last year and had it compleatly rebuilt by a trained technition. All of the caps were replaced and beefed up with the highest quality american maid parts. All new tubes including 6L6 Ruby power tubes, JJ preamps and Sovtek rectifier. In other words it will knock your socks off. All of the pots work like new with no scratching or popping. The box is plywood with a fender dog bone handle and rubber feet very retro. The tone is amazing. Its comparable to a 40 watt Fender as far as sound levels go but it has allot more bass as it was originally intended to be a bass amp in the 60's. Both channels work perfect. A three pronged power cord as well as a 1/4 output jack were instaled by the same tech who rebuild the amp. If your looking for a vintage sounding amp with power and reliability this is your baby.
