Up for auction is a Silvertone 1464 solid state amp w/ 2-12 matching cab. These amps were made between 1966-1968. The amp and cab are hardwired together and the cab has the original Chicago Jensen speakers. This amp and cab in in very good condition for it's age. There is some wear on the bottom right corner that exposes the wood, but nothing major. The amp sounds fantastic, very much like a tube amp. This is probably due to the power trannys used on these amps. The tremolo works great, but the reverb not so great. The amp is also very loud. I believe it puts out 50 watts. The head also transports securely in the rear bottom of the cab. I will also include a morley footswitch for switching the tremolo on/off.
