Silvertone Guitar

This is a Sears, Silvertone 1481, point-to-point, hand wired tube amp built by Danelectro from 1964-1968. Famous for their "greasy blues" sound and Vintage Vibe.  These amps are found in the inventory of many top recording studios and blues clubs for Guitar or Harp. It features a three tube chassis (12AX7,  6X4 & 6V6GT) pushing 5 watts through it's single 8 inch Alnico (probably a JENSEN) speaker. Uses a single volume and tone control to make operation simple but versatile.  These are the reason so many Major amp companies started selling small low watt amps today.  You won't find a less expensive one is this good a condition.

The vintage gray leatherette covering and aged silver/white grill cloth are in very good to excellent condition for the age of this amp, with only minor discoloration & marks. This amp is clean in looks and vintage vibe.  Add this one to your collection before they get any more expensive.  Warmed up this amp and vintage speaker drip with tone. I bought several small amps for a recording project and ended up with two of these.  I am parting with the better of the two, because I am a player not a collector....Ouch I will regret it later....This one is ready for a new home or studio work. Make it yours before I change my mind and cancel the auction...LOL

Returns & Shipping:

I am not a store but a private buyer/user of vintage gear. Returns on this item are accepted for damaged or DOA only. If you are not happy with your item for any reason please contact me within three days of receipt to discuss. I understand buyers who get gear and it’s not what the seller stated, so I will work with you. However, if you just don’t like it etc; that is not a reason for return, so please be sure to ask questions before you buy it. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer and are quoted for ebay requirements based on lower 48 Continetal USA locations only.

1. Payment is due within 3 days of the end of the auction. If payment is not received in 3 days, the auction is void and the item will be relisted and I will go to ebay to get my fees back. If there is a problem just let me know I will work with most situations if you communicate with me.

2. Item sold as is and all Sales Final. This item is warranted to be as described, arrive in functional condition, working order and not DOA. Other than that No Returns. I will always try to communicate well and make bidders happy.

3. Paypal is fine. I accept other forms of payment just ask. Shipping and handling rates cover actual shipping costs plus shipping supplies and the expenses of selling on eBay/Paypal. SHIPPING RATE QUOTED IS AN ESTIMATE FOR CONTINENTAL USA ONLY AND FINAL SHIPPING COST BASED ON YOUR ACTUAL LOCATION.

4. I usually do NOT ship internationally. I may ship to Canada, but it must be at your own risk as I cannot guarantee anything via Canadian post office.

5. Please only bid if you agree to my terms and if you will leave at least 4 stars in the shipping rates category in the detailed sellers rating when leaving feedback, as my shipping terms are CLEARLY stated in each of my auctions.
