Description:
This 50 watt 2x12 halfstack has come to prominence in the past couple of years. It started when musicians such as Jack White w/ White stripes & Counting Crowes started using them to create their vintage unique tone. These amps are crunch monsters. They never get much past tubescreamer level break up but it is heaven for the blues/jazz player. It has been inspected and it needs some work such as caps and the tubes could use replacing. Everything works great and it sounds awesome. Due to the vintage nature of this piece it will be shipped and sold AS IS. It is guaranteed however to arrive in playable condition. We would suggest having a grounded plug put on it for safety but over all it is in great condition for a 50+ year old amp. The tremolo and reverb work well. The reverb is solid but is not the best out there. The Tremolo on the other hand oozes vintage vibe and is incredible. The tolex is a bit scuffed and is torn in some spots. On the cabinet the top edges where wrapped in duct tape at one point leaving the yellowish adhesive behind. The grille cloth is in pristine condition and the speakers and all components appear to be all original. The only thing that appears to be changed was that they swapped the hardwire speaker cable for 1/4 jacks to bring it up to modern playing standards. If you are an amp collector or are looking for a cool piece of vintage gear history. You have got to get one of these.
