I own three 1964 Silvertone 1457 Amp in case and this Telestar
guitar rocks! I plugged into my Silvertone 1482 Amp to just test sound and
action. This holds in tune beautifully. MUCH better than the Danelectro
reissues! Much nicer looking than my Silvertones. I have 13 guitars 3 amps so and
some have to go to make room. I can send more pictures upon request. This is a
COLLECTORS and PLAYERS Guitar....

It is impossible to overstate the coolness factor of this
guitar. TJ Riboloff of Gibson guitar fame bought the rights to the old 60's Dan
Electro made Silvertone amp in case design. He faithfully reproduced it with
modern updates such as a fully adjustable bridge, well made tuners, higher
output lipstick pickups and a better finish.  Unfortunately for Telestar, the Danelectro company was just coming out with
it's re-releases also at that time and they got more attention, although they
were arguably not as good as the Telestars. I own one of the original
Silvertones but it never leaves the guitar closet. This version is that much
better.
