1964-1966 SILVERTONE DANELECTRO 1457 AMP IN CASE GUITAR SUPER NICE!!

Here's your chance to own a vintage 1964-1966 Silvertone/Danelectro model 1547 amp-in-case guitar in super nice condition. This wonderful one owner guitar does have some vintage stickers on it, but appears to have been played very little. Also, we just had this super cool Silvertone guitar and amp professionally serviced/set-up/brand new strings added, so it's ready to play. All the electronics/pickups/pots work properly. The in-case tube amp works great too and sounds amazing. No wonder so many rock legends have played/recorded with the Silvertone 1457 model, including The Who, The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and George Harrison. Comes with the original case with built in tube amp and original foot switch. The inside of the case is super clean and the outside is in good shape too, but there is a little wear/tear to the outside of the case. Thanks for looking!!

here we have a early 60's silvertone amp in case model 1448. the guitar is in great shap and plays well with on partial tuner changed(just the post and gear). there is a few bumps and bruises but i would say this one is above average for these guitars. the amp does not work but all the tubes light up. the speaker is toasted and ripped. the rivits for the transformer and the big cap mount are long gone so they kinda dangle on inside of the amp. the case is missing 1/2 a latch and the handle. what you see is what you get.

vintage Silvertone Electric Guitar, numbered T55903 on the back of the neck, measures 32" lon and

8" at the widest. It does need some work, has no strings or tighteners at the top and pieces at the bottom.

I am not too sure what type of guitar this is, not the typical one's you see. Has some white paint on the

neck which has peeled and a chip on one side as you can see in the photo. I know its old and think its rare.

Worthy for the guitarist to fix it up and bring it back. Kindly send a message if you have any questions.

Check it out...This is one of the Super Cool 1960's Harmony Bobcat Solid Body with DeArmond Goldfoil Pickup Guitars...I have had many of these and they just don't come up very often as they once did....

This is by far one of the best sounding and playing one of these I have ever had...It is Uber Cool!! ..it has scrapes and dings here and there..the worse is on the side of the neck and along the sides ..see pics 9 and 11... The Truss Rod cover has no tips broken but there is one pickguard tip that we salvaged...see pic 10...be careful if you remove the pickguard .... this is a really cool guitar....The neck feels a little beefier to me..I have another here in the shop and I think the profile is just a little more generous...makes this one feel great in the hand....

This guitar will blow you away with its Huge Tone...If you haven't experienced one of these be prepared to be blown away...These are Sleeper Guitars.....This Guitar is ready to go ....It is truly a magical guitar....It plays like a dream and it sounds even better......Lets get bidding!! 

 

Lets review whats original on this one....

It has the original Neck, Headstock with Silvertone Stencilled Logo, Deluxe Kluson open back tuners, Tuner grommets, nut, body with original Sunburst Finish..see pics, Original Harmony Bridge, Pickguard,  DeArmond Silverfoil Pickups, Original Black Harmony knobs, Original Harmony tailpiece, and Truss Rod cover.........check those pics!!! ..WOW!!....Sorry, no case with this one..I have run out....

Now lets see whats not original...

NOT Much!!! ......It was missing the Harmony strap buttons on the end so I replaced it with a metal ones that looks like the originals..it will work better than the originals..they are small.....The action is as good as it gets...super low easy playing action with plenty of room to raise it for player preference...... I pack like I was shipping it to myself..I do this alot..Bid with confidence that guitar will get to you in any destination in perfect shape..

The sound of these guitars are really 50's and 60's blues, jazz, country, and rock......It has a that distinctive Harmony DeArmond raw sound ...The neck is great.......the action is low, has very super easy playing action,  and the neck is very comfortable to play..You will not want to put his one down when you get it..its a blast to play...... Very Nice.....I have enjoyed playing it and know it will be a treasured guitar to who ever is lucky enough to win this auction...

It looks good, sounds good, and plays good...   it will all be pro-packed by yours truly...I do this alot and have not had one complaint.... It has a few nicks and scratches as seen in the pics but it is a solid 9 out of 10 Guitar..

Sears Silvertone 1965 Model 1484 Twin Twelve with reverb and tremelo. This is a collectors dream!! In perfect working order. I replaced the preamp and powertubes with fender groovetubes, but will include the original Silvertone tubes as well. This amp plays like a dream. Absolutely NO defects in the tolex or grill cloth.

Creamy distortion at moderate volume levels, and chimey highs reminiscent of a Fender Tweed Deluxe. No mods, no defects, everything works as it should. This amp is oozing vintage vibe man!!! I recently purchased it as part of an estate from a locally known musician. This guy really took care of his gear, and this amp is proof positive.
