 Thanks for looking at this beautiful Silvertone(by Kay) acoustic guitar from the late 50's.This guitar comes with a perfectly fitting TKL case,and features a cutaway body with F-hole design complimented by its' striking carved front and back craftmanship.The guitar is in rare,excellent condition with overall minimal wear consistent with proper/caring use.The bound neck remains tightly fitted,with minimal fret/fretboard use.The neck is straight,with a 1&11/16 inches nut leading to a width of 2.0 inch at the 12th fret.The action is an inspiring,productive 3/32 inches(fret top to string bottom of low E) facilitated by the absence of the bridge thumbwheels.The guitar also has its' original bridge,tailpiece,and tuning machines that enable the instrument to maintain tune with only occasional use.The only issue with merit is that the pickguard does not align with its' mounting bracket,and to avoid drilling another hole the lower end is anchored with a small piece of adhesive.The observed bracket screw is faux/false in nature,and will suffice until the new owner addresses the issue.At present I do not know if the poor alignment is the result of the bracket or the pickguard.This condition is not noticeable while playing the guitar,and does well to protect its' finish.Also,the plastic (bottom) strap mount has broken off,but is stored in the case compartment for restoration.It is doubtful that there are many of these Silvertone acoustics left in such nice condition,and with this competitive price she won't last long.Please look closely at the photos,and hurry back for a great deal.   Pertinent emails answered daily,PayPal only at time of purchase please,and returns arriving exactly as sent while postmarked within 3 days of receipt will be accepted.Any deviation from this return policy will void it,so a gentle trial of the instrument will benefit all concerned.Return shipping will be oaid by the buyer.Shipping is through USPS Priority Mail (insured),and buyer will only pay actual cost.The shipping figure posted is for the west coast,and if you live closer to North Carolina your cost will be less.Any overpayment of shipping will be promptly refunded through PayPal after the item ships.Those Alaskan,Hawaiian,and Int'l Ebayers must email me BEFORE MAKING PURCHASE so the the shipping cost can be accurately set.I do not risk casual shipping estimates,but those interested can go to USPS.com and enter my location: North Carolina 28611,large box box weight 25 lbs,box size 48x20x7 inches,and 795.00 insurance for a quote.
