The 1965 Silverton 1417 offers a contured beveled body and a big silvery pickup made this guitar hot for a couple of years. The 1417 is much rarer than the 1413. I bought this guitar about 15 years ago. I just displayed it never used it live. It sounds pretty good, It has been played well and has alot of the finish worn off the neck. It has dents and chips and a round set spot at the headstock. It doesn't have the original bridge. The bridge looks like a home made one with carboard shims. The nut needs to be set its loose.
