Silvertone Guitar

This amp is awesome.  It's got a really nice clean tone (especially with single coils).  Turn it up and you have some of the most rocking tube break up that you could ever dream of.  When I bought this I really didn't know what I was getting into.  I got it home and really started to play with it and wow.  All I can say is wow.  The 1471 amp was made for Silvertone by Danelectro is basically the same amp as the 1481 but with a different covering (cooler looking in my opinion ).  The 1471's are extremely rare as they were only produced for 1 year (in comparison the 5 year production run of the 1481).  It is 5 watts (like a Fender Champ).  I have an older vibro champ and this thing blows it away when it comes to rock n roll, and let me tell you - if you are into blues - this thing sings.  This amp is clean (check the pictures) and probably hasn't seen a whole lot of use (2 of the tubes still say Silvertone).  I really don't want to sell it.  It's awesome.  If you like the warmth of tubes - I couldn't imagine that you could be dissapointed with this amp.
