Up for your inspection is one very desirable and very playable 1960's
Silvertone Electric Guitar with matching Amp-In-Case. It was made for Sears in
the USA, America, by the Danelectro Co. It is ALL ORIGINAL and COMPLETE. It
comes with the original hardshell case you see in the pictures. Model 1448 is
on the all tube amplifier built into the case. Hard to believe this beauty is
over 45 years old. There's some corrosion on some of the metal parts, but it is
original right down to the knobs and includes the original guitar cord. The
case has some light wear on the corners, but no damage or abuse. Don't let this
one get away!! 

Features include: chrome & nickel hardware, covered 6-on-a-strip skate key
tuners, aluminum nut, 18 fret 23.5 inch scale neck, rosewood fingerboard w/ dot
markers, masonite body and pickguard, lipstick pickup, rosewood bridge, tone
control, volume control. The potentiometers (controls) are untouched and under
their original handmade shield. The top of the guitar is near mint, with some
very light marks. The back is almost as nice. The neck is straight. The frets
and fingerboard look new. The back of the neck is nice and SMOOOOOOTH. It has
some wear around the edges of the headstock. The vinyl around the sides has
case wear only. This guitar has had no repairs, no alterations. NO FUNNY
BUSUNESS! I have completely serviced this guitar... cleaned and conditioned the
fingerboard, cleaned and polished the body and neck, adjusted the intonation
(the best you can). This guitar PLAYS AND SOUNDS GREAT!

The case is nice and solid with wear around the edges, and the former owner painted his name, "ALAN" on the front of case just below the grill cloth for the amp. The
amp itself works pretty nicely. Turn it up and it GROWLS like any  tube amp should.
