Here we have the top of the line Silvertone from 1959.  Introduced in 1957 at $149 from your local Sears Roebuck store, the "Two-Twelve" boasted a

four 6L6 power section just like it's competitor - the tweed Fender Twin.  With 50 watts of output, this was quite the Rock & Roll machine.
This amp was dated from the potentiometer codes:  137 851 (CTS 51st week of 1958)
Pair of Utah 12" alnico speakers.  Codes:  328 936 and 328 952.  This is interesting, because the 1396 was discontinued in 1959 and we have a

speaker made in the 52nd week of 1959.  Might have been produced in early 1960.

Amp has been serviced and has a grounded, three prong power cord added.  All silkscreed on the chrome is in very good condition.  Amp looks and

sounds great!
