Silvertone Guitar

This sweet U-1 copper Silvertone/ Danelectro is totally stock and original....Serial number is 1059 (see pic)...which dates it to Jan 1959 (stamped in the circular body cavity on the back)....the neck is as straight as an arrow and it has the usual players wear in the correct places....The paint on the back of the neck has been worn away and the bottom 3 frets have some wear.....But this does not affect the low action or playability in any way....This guitar has been played but not tweeked or altered...All parts are original...The tuning heads do not stick or slip...The electronics work fine....the side binding white material has no rips or discolorations....(except very slight discoloration around strap button by neck heal)...(The neck has no nicks or dings fretboard or back) nor does the little wood bridge piece...The aluminum nut is perfect as is the Silvertone logo and it has jumbo frets....the fidelity of the lipstick pickup is incredible....The knobs and switch are original and in perfect shape...The higher end 2 tone case (for that year) is in very passable usable condition with age wear along edges...Nice red plush interior has no rips or tears...The three latches work and are not bent or misshapen...This is a classic original unmolested stock, great playing and sounding guitar....It has a low starting price.....visit  vintagesilvertones.com to see a "like guitar" with similar authentic wear pattern
