Up for sale very rare in any condition 1957 Silvertone 1393 amp. It appeared only in 1957 Sears fall/winter catalog.
Amplifier is housed in solid wood cabinet. I do not know if it came originally this way or it was custom built. Please do not send me a link of this amp housed in different cabinet, I saw it.
I am re-listing this amp after many requests to test for the sound. Powered it up with variac and it works !!! Tested with keyboard, it sounded really good, even with speaker in need for re-foaming. Hum noise was present, but I believe it's not a big issue for someone who knows old amps. Definitely technician has to go over this amp to assure proper working condition. It is been sold as is with no returns.
