This is a very nice 1957 Silvertone model 1317 U-1 single lipstick tube vintage guitar. It has been carefully cleaned, gently preserving the original finish. A beautiful example of the Dan-Electro collectible vintage guitars, this one plays as good as it looks. It is missing the pick guard, very common as the screws vibrated loose and the original owners discarded them. The black finish and cream bindings look great and it is straight as an arrow.
